The New York Cyclones.

The addition of Aaron Rodgers is not the only thing that Jet’s fans should be excited about... Essentially the three best, recent alumni of the Iowa State Cyclones are now donning the green and white. That includes Breece Hall, Allen Lazard, and Will McDonald IV. If your attention wasn’t focused on the Jet’s this year because of the addition of Aaron Rodgers, then now you have good reason to tune in if you are a Cyclone fan.

With all of that being said, if I am Joe Douglas, the GM of the Jets, I am making multiple phone calls to the 49ers and offering all of our picks, Rodgers, and my kidney for Brock Purdy. Just imagine it... Brock Purdy surgically picking apart defenses while throwing slants to Allen Lazard and Breece Hall setting league records on the ground, all while McDonald is leading a solid defense. If the Jets can also make a sly trade for Xavier Hutchinson, we could witness a fully realized and developed Cyclones squad.

Nevertheless, I for one am fully bought in with this Jets team. The prospect of Rodgers leading an offense with Breece Hall as running back and Allen Lazard continuing his chemistry with 12 is exciting. But on the same note, I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish the season 8-9. When it comes to the Jets, it doesn’t matter how much talent you load that roster with, it’s still just lipstick on a pig.
