Hockey is a Brotherhood and a Sisterhood | Forged from Steel S4 Ep. 1

It’s the dawn of a new season, and for an iconic USHL franchise like the Chicago Steel, a time to reload, not rebuild. The 24-25 Steel add a trio of veterans from USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program: defenseman Noah Lapointe, goaltender Jack Parsons, and forward Charlie Pardue. And while the rosters are new, many of the names are familiar. Hockey is a brotherhood in the Fox Valley, and this year is no different with forwards Henry Major and Alex Hage each following in their older brothers’ footsteps. Hockey is also a sisterhood, as the Steel host Des Moines as part of a Women in Sports celebration, including an appearance by Chicagoland native, Olympic gold medalist, and PWHL champion, Kendall Coyne Schofield.
